Duties
As a Supervisory Forensics Investigative Specialist, you will: - Supervise forensic investigations of the highest complexity involving sensitive criminal and occasionally non-criminal investigations. - Lead extremely difficult, complex, and sensitive digital forensics and eDiscovery investigations of national and interregional scope, ensuring the integrity of all computer and computerized evidence. - Provide technical consultation on complex investigative matters and helps develop strategies for reviewing large amounts of data efficiently.

Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: - Demonstrated experience utilizing applicable principles, procedures, and techniques to ensure digital evidence is collected, transported, and stored properly; AND - Demonstrated experience leading people who process and analyze digital evidence; AND - Demonstrated experience using automated databases to manage information. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks. Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
