Job Title: HubSpot Solutions Expert

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and client-focused HubSpot Solutions Expert to serve as the internal authority on HubSpot across both client engagements and internal operations. This role will support the full client lifecycle — from presales and discovery through solution design, implementation, optimization, and delivery oversight.
The ideal candidate comes from a HubSpot agency or partner environment, holds multiple active HubSpot certifications, and has strong experience in CRM configuration, integrations, migrations, and business process optimization. This is a senior individual contributor role requiring both technical expertise and strong stakeholder communication skills.
In addition to client projects, the candidate will also advise and improve the company’s own HubSpot ecosystem to ensure best practices across sales, marketing, and operations teams.
*Key Responsibilities*
Presales & Client Discovery
Join discovery and solutioning calls alongside the sales team to understand client requirements and pain points.
Act as the primary HubSpot subject matter expert during client conversations.
Assess gaps in CRM processes, automation, reporting, and integrations.
Translate business challenges into scalable and practical HubSpot solutions.
Proposal & Solution Design
Define the functional and technical scope for HubSpot implementations and optimization projects.
Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to contribute to proposals and solution documents.
Provide effort estimations, implementation recommendations, and technical guidance.
Recommend the most effective HubSpot architecture based on client objectives and platform capabilities.
HubSpot Configuration & Optimization
Lead the configuration and optimization of HubSpot CRM including:
Pipelines
Lifecycle stages
Custom properties
Workflows & automations
User roles and permissions
Lead routing and segmentation
Identify improvement opportunities in existing HubSpot environments to increase adoption, automation, and reporting effectiveness.
Guide delivery teams on implementation best practices and scalable CRM structures.
Integrations & Automation
Design and implement integrations between HubSpot and third-party platforms using:
REST APIs
Webhooks
Middleware/iPaaS platforms such as Make, n8n, Zapier, or similar
Troubleshoot API-based integrations and ensure reliable data synchronization across systems.
Build or support custom integration logic using scripting/programming languages such as Python or JavaScript/Node.js.
CRM Migration Projects
Lead CRM migration projects into HubSpot from platforms such as Salesforce, Zoho, or similar systems.
Conduct technical discovery and analyze source system data structures and dependencies.
*Perform or oversee:*
Field mapping
Data transformation
Data cleaning
Validation and integrity checks
Migration testing and cutover planning
Independently execute small to mid-sized migration projects end-to-end.
Internal HubSpot Advisory
Serve as the internal HubSpot authority for the organization.
Recommend and implement improvements to the company’s own HubSpot environment.
Support internal teams with HubSpot best practices across sales, marketing, and operations workflows.
Drive CRM governance, adoption, automation, and reporting improvements internally.
Required Qualifications
4+ years of hands-on professional experience working with HubSpot.
Active HubSpot certifications across key areas such as:
CRM
Marketing Hub
Sales Hub
Service Hub
Prior experience working in a HubSpot agency or HubSpot partner environment.
Strong client-facing and presales experience.
Hands-on expertise configuring and optimizing HubSpot for multiple clients.
Proven experience leading CRM migration projects into HubSpot.
Experience integrating HubSpot with third-party systems using REST APIs and webhooks.
Hands-on experience with middleware/iPaaS platforms such as:
Make
n8n
Zapier
Similar automation platforms
Strong understanding of data mapping, transformation, validation, and migration processes.
*Ability to write and understand code in at least one language such as:*
Python
JavaScript / Node.js
Similar scripting languages
Excellent English communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, delivery, and project management.
Familiarity with:
Data warehousing concepts
BI/reporting tools
Reverse ETL workflows
Experience working with:
HubSpot custom objects
Private apps
Custom-coded workflow actions
Exposure to SQL and database querying for migration preparation and data analysis.
