About the role
We're looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer II to join our Backend Development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining the backend systems that power HubSpot's products. You'll collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate new product requirements into highly scalable and reliable backend systems. This includes working on challenging technical problems around data modeling, APIs, service architecture, performance optimization, and more. You should have strong coding and problem-solving skills, as well as experience with common backend technologies and design patterns.
