Design Manager - Commerce Hub

As a Design Manager for HubSpot's Commerce Hub, you'll lead a team of talented product designers who are shaping the future of e-commerce for our customers. You'll partner closely with our product, engineering, and content teams to drive the end-to-end design vision and strategy for this critical growth area. This role is a fantastic opportunity to flex your leadership skills, cultivate a high-performing design team, and have a major impact on HubSpot's expanding ecosystem. What you'll do: - Lead, coach, and mentor a team of talented product designers, helping them grow both professionally and as a cohesive design squad - Partner closely with product and engineering leaders to define the design roadmap, strategy, and vision for our Commerce Hub - Advocate for design's role in the product development process and drive cross-functional alignment - Ensure a consistent, on-brand, and exceptional user experience across our Commerce offerings - Champion a design-led culture and advocate for user-centric approaches to problem-solving - Continuously expand your team's capabilities by identifying skill gaps and upskilling opportunities - Collaborate with leadership to define and maintain design standards and best practices What we're looking for: - 5+ years of experience in a design leadership role, ideally in a SaaS or e-commerce environment - Strong mentoring and people management skills with the ability to guide and motivate a high-performing team - Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional partners - Deep expertise in user-centered design principles, product strategy, and the software development lifecycle - Proven track record of driving design-led product initiatives and delivering exceptional customer experiences - Passion for building inclusive and equitable design cultures - Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Why HubSpot?
