Position Summary:
The Shipping Quality Control ensures all outbound shipments meet company and customer quality standards. This role is responsible for inspecting, verifying, and documenting the accuracy and condition of products before they are shipped, ensuring compliance with internal processes and customer requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Perform audits of outbound shipments to verify order accuracy, packaging, labeling, and documentation.
- Ensure correct quantities, product specifications, and condition of goods prior to shipment.
- Document audit findings and report non-conformances to the appropriate teams (shipping, warehouse, or quality).
- Collaborate with shipping and warehouse personnel to resolve quality issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all audits performed.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to shipping and quality procedures.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements to reduce errors.
- Assist in training warehouse/shipping staff on quality and packaging standards as needed.
- Participate in regular quality meetings and provide feedback on shipping trends.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Education and/or Experience, Skills and Abilities
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or certification in quality or logistics is a plus.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a shipping, warehouse, or quality control role.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, packing slips, and product specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Computer Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred
