Role Description The HSEQ Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Jamnagar, responsible for supporting and implementing Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality standards across catering and facility operations. This role includes conducting regular site inspections, risk assessments, and audits to ensure compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and ISO standards. The HSEQ Executive will develop and update procedures, SOPs, and checklists, and will deliver training and awareness programs to operational teams on safe work practices, food safety, hygiene, and environmental guidelines. Daily responsibilities also involve monitoring incident reports, coordinating corrective and preventive actions, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with operations, procurement, and management to continuously improve HSEQ performance. The role requires active engagement with frontline staff and client representatives to address concerns promptly and uphold Geetha Group’s service quality benchmarks.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of HSEQ standards and practices, including occupational health and safety, food safety, hygiene, and environmental management.
- Experience with ISO-based systems (preferably ISO 22000 or similar), audits, risk assessments, and compliance documentation.
- Ability to design and deliver training programs, conduct toolbox talks, and effectively communicate safety and quality requirements to diverse teams.
- Skills in data analysis and reporting for incidents, non-conformities, and performance metrics, with a focus on root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Familiarity with industrial catering or facility management operations, including kitchen processes, housekeeping, and waste management.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
- Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Food Technology, Hotel Management, or a related field; relevant HSEQ certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a similar HSEQ role in catering, hospitality, or industrial services is preferred.
