Position - HSE Lead
Experience - 8-12 Years
Location - Mumbai
On Role
Key Responsibilities
HSE Management
Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines across
project sites.
Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations, company policies, and client HSE
requirements.
Establish project-specific safety plans, risk assessments, and emergency response
procedures.
Site Safety Monitoring
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and toolbox talks.
Monitor high-risk activities such as work at height, lifting operations, electrical works,
excavation, and hot work.
Ensure availability and proper usage of PPE and safety equipment.
Incident Management
Investigate incidents, near misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions.
Prepare RCA (Root Cause Analysis) reports and corrective/preventive action plans.
Maintain incident records and safety performance reports.
Training & Awareness
Conduct induction programs, safety trainings, mock drills, and awareness sessions.
Promote a proactive safety culture across employees, contractors, and vendors.
Environmental Compliance
Monitor environmental compliance, waste management, pollution control, and
sustainability practices.
Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous/non-hazardous waste.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain HSE documentation, permits, audit records, licenses, and compliance
trackers.
Submit daily/weekly/monthly HSE reports to management and clients.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree / Diploma in Engineering or Science.
Certification/Diploma in Industrial Safety, NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent preferred.
Experience
8 12+ years of experience in HSE management within renewable energy, solar,
construction, or infrastructure projects.
Required Skills
Experience handling utility-scale solar/IPP project safety preferred.
