DevOps GCP/Consultant Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist In this role, you will: • Create and improve patterns for deploying infrastructure as code to support components built with microservices architectures • Ownership of complex infrastructural patterns including networking, Kubernetes and security components • Ownership of application release pipelines • Ensure all Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments meet bank standards for IT security • Work with Cloud Architects to design and implement patterns for cloud networking, IT security assurance, service deployment and service management that comply with strict bank and regulatory standards • Troubleshoot issues with infrastructure and service deployments and use learnings to improve and strengthen cloud infrastructure • Implement automation tools and frameworks • Conduct detailed reviews of infrastructure as code elements and communicate feedback to cross-functional teams to ensure consistent quality of delivery across multiple solution components • Collaborate within the programme and across the organisation to improve engineering tools, systems, procedures and data security • Seek ways to provide automation that helps assure security, performance and availability of cloud infrastructure and services • Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation
