About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the HSBC Graduate Scheme. As a Graduate Credit Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the assessment, monitoring and management of credit risk across a wide range of HSBC's credit portfolios and activities. This will include analyzing corporate counterparty financial information, understanding and assessing credit risk drivers, reviewing credit proposals and recommendations, and liaising with stakeholders to provide credit analysis and insights. The role will provide you with exposure to multiple credit risk disciplines including Corporate and Commercial lending, Wealth and Personal Banking, and/or Global Banking and Markets. You will have the opportunity to develop your technical skills in credit risk assessment, financial analysis, and risk management, as well as building your stakeholder management and interpersonal skills. With support from experienced credit risk professionals, you will play a key role in the ongoing monitoring and management of HSBC's credit portfolios, contributing to the bank's overall risk management framework. During the 2-year graduate program, you will also have the opportunity to rotate through different areas of the business, allowing you to gain a broad understanding of HSBC's operations and identify potential areas of interest for your future career development. The program includes a comprehensive learning and development curriculum, as well as opportunities for networking, mentoring and social activities.
