Role Description
To administer, maintain, and continuously improve the organization’s Human Resource Management System (HRMS), serving as the central HR technology platform. This role ensures the integrity of employee data, smooth payroll integration, robust system governance, and compliance with statutory requirements. The System Administrator provides dependable reporting, responsive user support, and drives ongoing system enhancements.
Responsibilities
· Administer, configure, and maintain the HRMS across all modules, including employee lifecycle, payroll integration, attendance, leave, performance, and statutory compliance.
· Serve as the primary liaison with external vendors / support teams for system issues, upgrades, and enhancements.
· Safeguard the accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and timely updating of employee data within the HRMS. · Manage user access, roles, workflows, approval hierarchies, and system controls to ensure secure and efficient operations.
· Support payroll processing by enabling seamless and error-free data flow between the HRMS and payroll systems.
· Develop and deliver MIS reports, dashboards, and analytics.
· Oversee system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and the implementation of new HRMS features or modules
· Conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing support to HR team members and employees for effective system usage.
· Maintain comprehensive system documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and change logs.
· Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, audit standards, and data privacy regulations through robust system controls
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Computer Applications, IT or related field.
Experience
· 3–7 years of experience in HRMS administration or HR operations
· Prior experience in implementation, migration, or enhancement will be an added advantage
· Understanding of HR processes and HR operations
· Hands-on experience with HRMS platforms (mandatory)
· Proficiency in data management, reporting, and HR analytics.
· Ability to coordinate with vendors and troubleshoot system issues effectively
· High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication abilities and stakeholder capability.
