About The Role:
We are hiring actively for our HR team in Gurgaon. These are dynamic roles spanning HR operations, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and HRIS management. You will work closely with HR Business Partners and senior leadership in a firm that is growing fast and values people who take initiative. There are two roles open with us – HR Specialist and TA Specialist/Senior Specialist.
Below are the details of each role:
HR Specialist
What You Will Do
• Support day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records and ensuring compliance with internal
processes
• Handle employee documentation such as offer letters, employment agreements, and verification letters
• Regularly update and maintain the HRIS system with accurate employee data and status changes (e.g., promotions, etc.)
• Support Talent Acquisition operations, including interview scheduling, candidate communication and maintaining recruitment trackers
• Assist with scheduling and coordination of internal HR meetings, events, and training
sessions
• Support the execution of employee engagement initiatives and assist in collecting and compiling employee feedback
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners and other teams on various projects and ad-hoc requests
What We’re Looking For:
Must-have
• 6 months - 2 years of HR experience, a relevant HR internship, or a strong demonstrated intent to build a career in HR
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Good to have
• Familiarity with any HRIS or ATS (e.g., Darwinbox, Zoho People, Workday, or similar)
• Exposure to consulting, analytics, or professional services firms
• Comfort with ambiguity and a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Talent Acquisition Specialist/Senior Specialist
What You Will Do:
End-to-end recruitment
• Own the full hiring cycle for assigned roles: sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer management, and candidate closure
• Manage the candidate pipeline and applicant tracking system — ensuring accurate, real-time data across all active positions
• Build and maintain recruitment dashboards and MIS to give hiring managers and leadership clear visibility into pipeline health
• Lead or support campus recruitment drives, including coordination with college placement cells and event logistics
Sourcing & pipeline building
• Source candidates proactively via LinkedIn, Naukri, iimjobs, Internshala, Boolean search, and employee referrals
• Build and maintain a pipeline of passive candidates through personalized outreach and ongoing relationship management
• Engage professional networks and HR communities to expand Indus Insights’ talent reach
Candidate management & experience
• Conduct structured pre-screening calls to assess skills, motivation, and cultural fit before advancing candidates to hiring panels
• Coordinate interview schedules efficiently between candidates and interviewers, minimizing back-and-forth and delays
• Ensure every candidate has a positive, professional experience - with timely updates, clear communication, and respectful handling at every stage
• Manage offer conversations with clarity and confidence, including CTC discussions and notice period planning
What We’re Looking For:
Must-have
• 1 - 3 years of experience in talent acquisition or HR recruitment, or a strong demonstrated track record of hiring-related work (internships included)
• Excellent verbal and written communication — you will represent Indus Insights to every candidate you speak with
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple open roles and candidates \ simultaneously without dropping the ball
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (for trackers and MIS) and PowerPoint
• Genuine passion for people, process, and building great teams
Good to have
• Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri Resdex, or any ATS / HRMS platform
• Prior exposure to hiring for analytics, consulting, or professional services roles
• Familiarity with Boolean search, X-Ray sourcing, or other advanced sourcing techniques
• Comfort with ambiguity, a high sense of ownership, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
