Job description:

The Senior Human Resources will be RPR's dedicated people leader, responsible for building the HR function from the ground up. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role that requires a professional capable of setting up robust HR systems while managing day-to-day people operations across a growing, operations-driven organization.
The ideal candidate understands the nuances of a cross-border US-India service business, is comfortable in a 24/7 deadline-driven environment, and can balance the entrepreneurial culture of a founder-led company with the need for scalable HR processes.

Key Responsibilities
1. HR Strategy & Leadership
• Develop and implement the overall HR strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
• Build and lead a high-performing HR team across recruitment, HR operations, and employee engagement.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop workforce plans that support company growth.
• Establish a performance-driven and accountable work culture.
2. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
• Design and manage a high-volume recruitment engine for operational roles.
• Build strong sourcing channels including job portals, campus hiring, referral programs, and recruitment vendors.
• Develop recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and offer-to-joining ratio.
• Ensure timely hiring to support operational capacity and client delivery commitments.
• Create a database & pipeline for regular supply of human resources.
3. Employee Retention & Engagement
• Develop and implement programs to reduce attrition and improve employee retention.
• Introduce retention incentives, recognition programs, and career progression frameworks.
• Conduct employee engagement initiatives to build a positive workplace culture.
• Monitor employee satisfaction and address workplace issues proactively.
4. HR Policies & Process Development
• Develop, implement, and periodically update HR policies and standard operating procedures.
• Establish structured systems for onboarding, probation management, performance evaluation, and promotions.
• Ensure consistency and fairness in HR processes across the organization.
5. Performance Management
• Implement and manage an effective performance management & appraisal system.
• Work with operations teams to define KPIs and productivity metrics for employees.
• Support managers in evaluating employee performance and development plans.
6. HR Operations & Administration
• Oversee HR administration including attendance management, payroll coordination, leave management, and employee records.
• Ensure smooth onboarding and exit processes.
• Implement HRMS systems where necessary to streamline HR operations.
7. Compliance & Legal
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, employment regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Manage employee contracts, disciplinary processes, and grievance handling.
• Coordinate with legal advisors in case of employment-related matters.
8. Organizational Development
• Design training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills.
• Build leadership development programs for future managers.
• Support organizational restructuring when required.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
• MBA / Postgraduate degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
• Additional certifications in HR management will be an advantage

Experience
• 3-4 years of total HR experience
• At least 3 years in a senior HR leadership role
• Experience in BPO, KPO, operations-driven companies, or service organizations
• Proven track record in high-volume recruitment and workforce management

Preferred Candidate Profile
• Experience managing a 300+ employee workforce
• Strong understanding of operations-driven work environments
• Ability to build scalable HR systems from the ground up
• Proven experience in reducing attrition and improving workforce stability
• Familiarity with US business culture, time zones, and client-servicing norms is a strong advantage
• Comfortable working in a cross-border India–US delivery model
