Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site HR Payroll Specialist role based in Bengaluru. The HR Payroll Specialist will oversee and manage payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Key responsibilities include maintaining payroll systems, reconciling payroll data, preparing payroll reports, and addressing employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits. The role also involves collaborating with the HR team to ensure alignment with HR policies and addressing personnel management needs efficiently.
Key Requirements:
Pay Roll Administration:
- Execute end-to-end monthly payroll processing for all employees.
- Manage attendance, leaves, overtime, and shift differential calculations.
- Handle final settlements (Full & Final) for departing employees.
- Resolve employee queries regarding pay slips, taxes, and deductions with empathy and clarity.
Statutory Compliance:
- Ensure all payroll activities adhere to local, state, and federal labor laws.
- Manage filings and deposits for PF, ESIC, PT, and LWF .
- Oversee Income Tax (TDS) calculations, proof validation, and Form 16 generation.
- Coordinate with external auditors for regular payroll and compliance audits.
Data Management & MIS Reporting:
- Maintain a master database of employee records with zero errors.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports (Manpower cost analysis, attrition impact, budget vs. actuals).
- Create ad-hoc reports using advanced Excel/HRIS tools to support HR leadership in decision-making.
- Ensure data integrity and security across all HR platforms.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Human Resources (HR) and Personnel Management
- Experience in HR Management and implementing HR Policies
- Knowledge of Employee Benefits and related processes
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proficiency in payroll software and tools, Keka.
- Ability to ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in payroll administration or HR operations is an advantage
