At PwC, our people in people operations primarily focus on managing the people lifecycle and the day-to-day operational tasks related to managing employees. This includes activities such as employee onboarding, offboarding, payroll and benefits administration, absence management, employee record-keeping, compliance with labour laws and regulations, and managing employee inquiries and issues. These individuals enable HR processes and systems to run smoothly in order to efficiently support our workforce. Those in human resource operations at PwC will focus on all areas of Human Resources and the business in executing Human Resources related transactions and administrative activities. You will be a primary HR point of contact in the resolution, escalation or routing of inquiries as needed in line with HR protocols and guidelines, as well as be part of a team of problem solvers that help solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Position Requirements
Knowledge about labour law compliance- Shops & establishments Act
- Payment of wages Act,1936
- Minimum wages Act,1948
- Payment of Bonus Act,1965
- Employee’s Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act,1952
- Payment of gratuity Act,1972
- CLRA Act, 1970
- Monitor amendments and regulatory changes and implement necessary updates
- Maintain Registers, records, and compliance documentation
- Liaise with government authorities and handle inspections
- Validate compliance in wage calculations, overtime, bonus and leave encashments
- Through validation of monthly registers and monitor vendor data
- Ensure Contractor compliance documentation and vendor audits
- Prepare internal and external audit control checks
- Support internal & external audits
- Identify compliance gaps and implement corrective actions
- Maintain compliance dashboard and risk reports
- Manage the compliance dashboard tasks on timely basis.

Required Qualification
Bachelor’s/master’s degree in business law, HR, or related field.
6-7 years of relevant experience, hands on experience working with labour departments
