Role Overview
We are hiring a hands-on HR Manager to lead HR operations across multiple locations including CFS, transportation, and warehousing.
This role requires strong ownership of hiring, compliance, payroll, and workforce management while working closely with operations teams to ensure discipline and stability across branches.
This is an execution-driven role, not a corporate HR position.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end HR operations across all branches with strong process control and consistency
- Manage recruitment for staff and operational roles, while optimising the use of manpower agencies and actively building direct hiring channels
- Ensure smooth onboarding, documentation, and complete employee lifecycle management
- Oversee attendance, payroll validation, statutory compliance (PF, ESI, PT, TDS), and audit coordination
- Maintain accurate HR records and regularly track/report workforce data including attendance, attrition, hiring status, and operational issues
- Handle employee grievances and enforce discipline across operational teams
- Work closely with branch heads and operations teams to resolve manpower gaps and workforce issues
- Supervise administrative activities including vendor coordination, reimbursements, and branch-level support
- Track contracts, renewals, and compliance-related documentation across locations
Success Metrics (KPIs)
- Payroll accuracy and on-time processing
- Reduction in absenteeism and attrition
- Strong direct hiring pipeline with controlled agency dependency
- Zero compliance gaps or penalties
- Clear and consistent workforce reporting to management
Required Skills & Experience
- MBA/PGDM in HR or related field
- 6–15 years of experience in HR operations
- Experience in logistics is strongly preferred; manufacturing profiles will also be considered
- Strong hands-on experience in payroll, statutory compliance, and recruitment
- Experience managing multi-location workforce and field operations
- Strong coordination, control, and problem-solving ability
Important Note
This role requires close interaction with operations teams, branch heads, and field workforce in a fast-paced logistics environment. Candidates must be comfortable handling ground-level workforce challenges.
