Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site HR Manager role based at Medcity International Academy’s Kochi location. The HR Manager will oversee and execute end-to-end human resources functions, including recruitment, employee engagement, training, and policy implementation. Key responsibilities include developing HR strategies, managing talent acquisition for the study abroad division, coordinating international partnerships, and ensuring compliance with labour laws and internal policies. The HR Manager will also play a critical role in fostering a positive workplace culture that aligns with the organization’s vision and values.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and skills in recruitment, talent acquisition, and workforce planning
- Expertise in employee engagement, training, conflict resolution, and performance management
- Proficiency in creating and implementing HR policies and managing compliance
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Familiarity with HR software and digital tools to streamline HR functions
- Prior experience in the training, education, or international placement industry is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; a Master's degree or relevant certifications such as SHRM or CIPD are advantageous
