HR Manager cum Executive Assistant (EA)
Department: Human Resources / Administration
Reporting To: Managing Director / CEO / Senior Leadership
Job Summary:
The HR Manager cum Executive Assistant is responsible for leading the human resources function while also providing high-level administrative and executive support to senior leadership. This role requires strong leadership, confidentiality, organizational ability, and the capability to manage both strategic HR responsibilities and executive coordination effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the overall HR function in alignment with organizational goals and leadership priorities.
- Manage and guide the HR team, allocate responsibilities, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of HR deliverables.
- Develop, review, implement, and update company HR policies, employee handbooks, and internal processes in line with business needs and statutory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, statutory obligations, company policies, internal controls, and governance standards.
- Oversee manpower planning, budgeting, recruitment strategy, hiring processes, onboarding, confirmations, transfers, and exit formalities.
- Handle employee relations, grievance management, disciplinary matters, workplace conflict resolution, and conduct-related issues with fairness and confidentiality.
- Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, review cycles, development plans, and succession planning.
- Oversee attendance, leave administration, employee records, HR documentation, and payroll coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Support compensation and benefits administration, retention initiatives, employee engagement programs, and learning and development activities.
- Prepare HR MIS, dashboards, compliance reports, attrition analysis, and other management reports for leadership review.
- Advise leadership on HR matters, policy interpretation, workforce planning, organizational structure, and people-related risks.
Executive Assistant Responsibilities:
- Provide direct executive support to senior leadership through efficient calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel planning.
- Prepare presentations, reports, meeting minutes, business correspondence, and internal communication on behalf of leadership.
- Coordinate leadership meetings, follow-ups, review schedules, and action trackers to ensure timely execution of priorities.
- Act as a liaison between leadership, employees, clients, vendors, and external stakeholders as required.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive business and employee information and handle all matters with professionalism and discretion.
- Support special projects, internal events, business reviews, and cross-functional coordination initiatives.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, employee lifecycle management, policy administration, and statutory compliance.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Strong organizational, coordination, and multitasking abilities.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and HR systems.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in HR, administration, and executive support roles.
- Prior experience in independently managing HR functions and supporting senior leadership is preferred.
