Role Summary
The HR Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing and ensuring full statutory compliance with labor laws. The role also includes HR operations, employee lifecycle management, and coordination with finance and site teams.

Key Responsibilities
1. Payroll Management
• Process monthly payroll for staff, workers, and contract labor
• Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions
• Handle attendance, leave, and shift-based payroll inputs
• Coordinate with accounts for salary disbursement
• Maintain payroll records, payslips, and reports

2. Statutory Compliance
• Ensure compliance with:
• PF (Provident Fund)
• ESIC
• PT (Professional Tax)
• Labour Welfare Fund
• Manage filings, returns, and challans on time
• Handle inspections, audits, and notices from government authorities
• Maintain statutory registers and records

3. Labour Law & Industrial Relations
• Ensure compliance with:
• Factories Act
• Minimum Wages Act
• Payment of Wages Act
• Contract Labour Act
• Coordinate with contractors for compliance
• Handle worker grievances and disciplinary actions
• Support union or worker negotiations (if applicable)

4. HR Operations
• Manage employee onboarding, documentation, and exit formalities
• Maintain employee records (digital + physical)
• Draft HR policies and ensure implementation
• Manage attendance systems (biometric/manual at site)

5. Contractor & Site HR Management
• Monitor compliance of subcontractors and labour suppliers
• Ensure all workers have proper documentation (Aadhar, bank, etc.)
• Maintain site-wise manpower reports

6. Reporting & MIS
• Prepare monthly HR & payroll MIS reports
• Track manpower cost, absenteeism, and compliance status
• Support management with HR analytics

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in HR, MBA (HR preferred)
• 5–10 years of experience in payroll & compliance
• Experience in manufacturing / EPC / construction preferred

• Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws
• Payroll software (Tally, Excel, HRMS)
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle government compliance independently
• Strong coordination and communication skills

• Experience handling 100+ manpower payroll
• Exposure to factory setup or project site HR
• Knowledge of contract labour management
