HR Manager (IT / Gaming Industry) – India

We are hiring an experienced HR Manager to join a fast-paced and growing business in India. This role is ideal for candidates with prior experience in the IT, Technology, Gaming, or Digital Services industry who understand dynamic business environments, rapid scaling, and cross-functional stakeholder management.
We are looking for someone hands-on, commercially minded, and operationally strong, with the ability to lead HR functions while also supporting administration and internal business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all HR & administrative operations for the India office.
- Develop, implement, and improve HR policies, SOPs, and internal processes in line with local labor laws and business needs.
- Oversee recruitment coordination, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and retention initiatives.
- Manage office administration, vendor coordination, and internal support functions.
- Support budgeting, payroll coordination, operational expenses, and internal financial planning.
- Partner closely with regional and international stakeholders across departments.
- Build a high-performance, service-oriented workplace culture.
- Handle complex employee matters with professionalism, discretion, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Drive continuous improvement in people operations and internal processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in HR / Administration / People Operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Mandatory experience in IT, Technology, Software, Gaming, Fintech, BPO, or other fast-paced digital industries.
- Strong understanding of Indian labor law, compliance, payroll, and HR operations.
- Experience working in high-growth or matrix organizations with multiple stakeholders.
- Good commercial awareness and confidence handling budgeting / internal cost management.
- Excellent English communication skills (spoken & written).
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Agile mindset, able to work under pressure and adapt quickly to change.
Preferred Background
- Experience supporting regional / international teams.
- Prior experience in startup, product, IT outsourcing, SaaS, gaming, or online entertainment sectors.
- Exposure to fast-scaling organizations.
