Role Description The HR Manager will oversee end-to-end human resources operations and ensure alignment between people practices and business objectives. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kanpur Nagar. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing recruitment and onboarding, maintaining HR policies, and ensuring accurate employee documentation and records. The HR Manager will handle employee relations, address workplace concerns, and support performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and appraisal cycles. The role includes overseeing payroll inputs and coordination with finance, managing attendance and leave systems, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company standards. The HR Manager will also design and facilitate training initiatives, support leadership in workforce planning, and contribute to building an inclusive, engaging work environment.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee lifecycle management.
- Experience with HR operations such as HRIS usage, payroll coordination, attendance management, and maintenance of HR records and documentation.
- Understanding of Indian labor laws, statutory compliances, and HR policies, with the ability to ensure consistent and fair implementation.
- Demonstrated skills in conflict resolution, employee engagement, and handling employee grievances with discretion and professionalism.
- Ability to design and support training, development, and upskilling initiatives aligned with organizational needs.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively with leadership and team members.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a postgraduate HR qualification or MBA in HR is an advantage.
- Previous experience in an HR Manager or senior HR generalist role, preferably in a similar industry or growth-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and familiarity with HR software or HRIS platforms.
