Job Description – HR Manager (Manufacturing & Corporate HR)

Position Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced and process-driven HR Manager to lead end-to-end HR operations across corporate and manufacturing functions.
The role requires a strong blend of
labour law compliance, plant HR management, recruitment excellence, and HR system development to support a growing organization with a workforce of
500–1000+ employees across multiple locations.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in
factory HR, contractor workforce management, and structured HR systems, with the ability to align people strategy with business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Labour Law & Statutory Compliance (Core Focus)
- Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable labour laws:
- PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages
- Factory Act, Shops & Establishment Act
- Contract Labour Act
- Manage statutory audits, inspections, registers, and returns filing
- Liaise with government authorities and ensure smooth compliance processes
- Ensure compliance across Head Office, Plant, and Site operations
- Monitor contractor compliance and documentation
- Plant HR & Workforce Management
- Handle end-to-end HR operations for Sonipat manufacturing plant
- Manage blue-collar and white-collar workforce lifecycle
- Develop hiring pipelines for operators, technicians, supervisors, and engineers
- Drive workforce stability, reduce attrition, and improve productivity
- Manage contract labour, vendors, and manpower planning
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Drive end-to-end hiring across:
- Sales (BDM, KAM, Govt Sales)
- Technical (Production, Installation, QC)
- Corporate roles
- Design Job Descriptions, hiring funnels, interview processes, and scorecards
- Handle bulk hiring as well as niche hiring
- Ensure TAT-driven closures with quality hiring
- Build pipelines through job portals, LinkedIn, consultants, and references
- HR Operations & Process Management
- Develop and implement HR SOPs, policies, and scalable systems
- Manage:
- Joining formalities and documentation
- Attendance, leave, and payroll coordination
- Exit management and Full & Final settlements
- Maintain employee records and HR MIS dashboards
- Drive structured HR processes aligned with business needs
- Performance Management & HR Metrics
- Implement KPI-driven performance management systems
- Design KRAs, scorecards, and review cycles
- Track productivity and workforce performance
- Align HR metrics with business growth and operational goals
- Employee Engagement & Industrial Relations
- Maintain discipline, code of conduct, and workplace governance
- Handle grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
- Drive employee engagement and retention strategies
- Act as a bridge between management and workforce
- HRMS & Analytics
- Manage and optimize HRMS (Keka) for:
- Attendance, payroll, and employee lifecycle
- Build HR dashboards, MIS reports, and analytics
- Provide data-driven insights to leadership for decision-making
- Training & Development
- Identify training needs across departments
- Conduct and coordinate:
- Induction programs
- Product and process training
- Build structured learning and development systems
Key Skills Required
- Strong expertise in Labour Laws & Statutory Compliance
- Experience in manufacturing / plant HR environment
- Strong command over recruitment strategy and execution
- Experience in contractor and vendor workforce management
- Hands-on with HRMS (Keka preferred), MIS, and dashboards
- Ability to handle multi-location workforce (HO + Plant + Sites)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Candidate Profile
- MBA in HR or relevant qualification
- 8–15 years of experience in core HR (manufacturing preferred)
- Experience managing 500–1000+ employee strength
- Strong exposure to compliance + recruitment + operations
- Experience in high-growth or structured organizations
