About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic HR Manager to join DSP Design Associates. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening the organization’s talent landscape, fostering a vibrant organizational culture, and streamlining people operations. This role requires a seasoned HR professional who can seamlessly blend operational HR functions with strategic initiatives, acting as a trusted HR Business Partner to the founders and leadership team. The HR Manager will be responsible for leading talent acquisition efforts, enhancing employee engagement, managing payroll and HR operations, and driving organizational development initiatives aligned with the company's growth trajectory. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the AEC industry, with the ability to influence organizational change, foster a collaborative work environment, and support the company’s vision through innovative HR practices.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should hold an MBA or PGDM in Human Resources or a related field, complemented by additional certifications in HR, Organizational Development, or labor laws, which will be considered an advantage. They should have between 8 to 15 years of relevant HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in the AEC industry. Experience in handling multi-location teams and managing complex HR functions within architecture, engineering, or construction firms is highly preferred. Candidates with a strong understanding of industry-specific HR challenges, talent acquisition, and organizational development will be best suited for this role.
Responsibilities
Culture & Employee Engagement: Drive initiatives that align with DSP Design’s core values and vision, acting as a catalyst to foster collaboration, accountability, and ownership among employees. Develop and implement wellness programs, recognition schemes, and engagement activities such as townhalls, team-building events, and internal communication campaigns. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment that motivates staff and enhances organizational culture.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for various functions including architecture, interior design, engineering, project management, QS, BIM, and support roles. Develop strategic hiring plans aligned with business growth and project pipelines. Build and nurture talent pipelines across PAN India, coordinate with leadership for manpower planning, and enhance employer branding to attract top-tier talent. Drive campus, lateral, and leadership hiring initiatives to support organizational expansion.
HR Business Partnering (HRBP): Act as a strategic advisor to founders and business leaders, providing guidance on organizational structuring, succession planning, and team development. Address employee relations issues, performance challenges, and retention strategies while ensuring HR initiatives support business objectives. Foster strong stakeholder relationships and serve as a trusted partner in driving organizational effectiveness.
Payroll & HR Operations: Oversee payroll processing, attendance management, leave administration, and HR compliance. Ensure accurate and timely payroll in coordination with finance teams. Maintain comprehensive employee records, contracts, and HR documentation while ensuring adherence to statutory regulations and company policies. Monitor HRMIS systems and streamline employee lifecycle processes for efficiency.
Performance Management & People Development: Implement KPI/KRA frameworks and facilitate performance reviews. Support managers in goal-setting, performance discussions, and development planning. Identify training needs and support leadership development initiatives to foster continuous employee growth.
Policies, Processes & Governance: Develop, update, and streamline HR policies, SOPs, and organizational frameworks to support scalable growth. Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical HR practices. Provide HR analytics, workforce insights, and reports to support strategic decision-making and organizational planning.
