Role Description This is a full-time HR Internship role based in Chennai, offered in a hybrid format with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The intern will support day-to-day HR operations, including assisting with recruitment activities such as screening applications, coordinating interviews, and maintaining candidate records. Responsibilities include helping implement HR policies, supporting documentation and compliance, and maintaining employee records and HR databases. The role involves assisting with onboarding processes, coordinating employee benefits-related queries, and contributing to employee engagement initiatives and HR communications. The intern will also collaborate with HR team members on projects related to HR analytics, process improvement, and documentation of standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with an interest in building a career in HR.
- Ability to understand and support HR Policies and procedures, including basic compliance and documentation requirements.
- Awareness of Employee Benefits and related processes, with the ability to assist in responding to benefit-related queries.
- Skills in Personnel Management, including maintaining employee records, supporting onboarding, and assisting with engagement activities.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
- Good organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail in handling sensitive HR data.
- Comfort with using digital tools and HR software or spreadsheets; willingness to learn new systems and processes.
