Role Description This is a full-time, on-site HR Head role based in the Pune Division. The HR Head will lead the overall human resources function, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee development. The role involves designing and implementing HR strategies and policies, ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws, and fostering positive employee relations and an inclusive workplace culture. The HR Head will partner with senior leadership to align people initiatives with organizational goals, manage HR operations and reporting, oversee compensation and benefits frameworks, and support change management across the organization. This position will also be responsible for building HR processes that enable scalable growth in a mission-driven emergency response environment.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, including strategic planning and HR operations.
- In-depth knowledge of Labor and Employment Law and experience applying regulations in organizational policies and practices.
- Proven ability to design, implement, and update HR Policies aligned with organizational objectives and compliance standards.
- Demonstrated expertise in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, grievance handling, and engagement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Several years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in healthcare, emergency services, or allied sectors.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.
- Experience with HRIS and data-driven decision-making, including HR metrics and reporting.
- Ability to work on-site in the Pune Division and collaborate across multicultural and cross-functional teams.
