HR Generalist – Acquisition & Culture (Remote)

The Honest Version of This Role :-
We're a B2B marketing agency, fully remote, growing fast. We've been hiring consistently — not 2–3 people a year, but double digits. And we plan to keep going.
We need one person who can own the entire people function: find the right candidates, close them quickly, onboard them well, keep the team together, and handle the human moments that come with a remote company that moves fast.
This is not a role where you build an HR team under you. This is not a role where you spend the first year setting up HR infrastructure. This is a role where you walk in, get up to speed in two weeks, and start filling roles that are waiting.

What You'll Own (70% Recruiting, 30% People Ops)Recruiting (70%) :-
- Run end-to-end hiring for all open roles: writing JDs, sourcing candidates, screening portfolios, coordinating rounds, and closing offers
- Build and maintain a pipeline of strong candidates across recurring role types
- Develop a nose for talent fast: portfolio quality, energy in a screening call, whether someone will thrive in a remote environment
- Negotiate offers with conviction — close the candidates we want
- Manage hiring velocity without sacrificing quality
- Work closely with founders to calibrate hiring decisions
People Ops (30%) :-
- Own onboarding: ensure every new hire’s first two weeks are structured and welcoming
- Run employee engagement for a remote team (Friday jams, check-ins, recognition moments)
- Be the first point of contact for employee concerns
- Run simple surveys to track team health
- Handle HR paperwork, offer letters, and basic compliance
What We're Looking For :-
- 3–5 years in HR, with strong recruiting experience
- Startup or fast-growing company experience
- Proven ability to close candidates
- High emotional intelligence (EQ)
- Strong written communication
- Comfort with remote, async-first work
- Low ego and willingness to handle operational tasks
