Role Overview
- We are looking for an experienced HR Executive with strong exposure to plant and manufacturing HR operations. The candidate will be responsible for managing statutory compliance, manpower recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, time office activities and employee lifecycle management.
- The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of labour laws, factory compliance, workforce handling and industrial relations. The role requires close coordination with management, supervisors, shop-floor employees and contractual workers.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle statutory and labour compliance including PF, ESI, Minimum Wages Act, Factories Act and applicable safety regulations.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for on-roll employees and contractual workers.
- Act as a bridge between management and shop-floor employees to maintain smooth employee relations.
- Handle employee grievances, workplace disputes and disciplinary matters.
- Manage attendance, leave tracking, time office activities and payroll inputs.
- Coordinate with Accounts and Finance for accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Maintain employee records, personal files and statutory compliance documents.
- Support onboarding, appointment letters, confirmations, exits and other employee lifecycle activities.
- Assist in employee engagement initiatives, safety committees and internal communication.
- Support the performance appraisal process and help supervisors maintain productivity standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- MBA/MSW in HR will be preferred.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in plant, factory or manufacturing HR.
- Strong understanding of labour laws, statutory compliance and factory-related HR processes.
- Experience with HRIS, payroll software or attendance management systems will be preferred.
- Good communication, coordination and conflict-resolution skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidate should have hands-on experience in manufacturing HR, statutory compliance, workforce management and employee relations.
- The person should be comfortable working in a plant environment and handling both staff and shop-floor workforce.
