Role Description The HR Compliance Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Guwahati, responsible for ensuring that client organizations adhere to applicable labour laws, HR regulations, Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and monitoring compliance with labour and employment legislation, and supporting audits and inspections related to HR and workforce practices. The role involves advising clients on employee benefits and statutory obligations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management to oversee compliance-related HR operations and support organizational workforce practices.
- Candidates should possess skills in HR Policies and Employee Benefits to develop, review, and implement compliant policies and benefit structures aligned with legal and regulatory standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in Personnel Management to handle employee records, documentation, and HR processes in a structured and compliant manner.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws, social security regulations, and statutory compliances relevant to Northeast India.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and report-writing skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients and internal stakeholders, and to manage multiple compliance projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field; professional certifications in HR or compliance are an advantage.
- Prior experience in HR compliance, labour law advisory, or HR consulting within industrial or MSME sectors is preferred.
