Role Overview
We are looking for an HR & Compliance Officer to manage internal HR operations and ensure compliance with Indian labor laws and U.S. staffing/regulatory requirements. This role will support day-to-day HR activities while maintaining audit-ready compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage employee lifecycle: onboarding, documentation, and exits
Maintain employee records and HRIS systems
Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws (PF, ESIC, Shops & Establishment, etc.)
Support U.S. compliance processes (I-9, background checks, onboarding documentation)
Draft and maintain HR policies, SOPs, and compliance documentation
Handle employee queries, grievances, and disciplinary processes
Coordinate with external vendors (payroll, legal, compliance partners)
Prepare reports and ensure audit readiness
Requirements
2–5 years of experience in HR & compliance
Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws
Basic understanding of U.S. staffing compliance (preferred)
Good documentation and communication skills
Experience with HRMS/payroll tools
Preferred
Experience in staffing, RPO, or healthcare industry
Exposure to U.S. clients or compliance processes
