About The Role
We are seeking an experienced People Operations Associate to join Porter’s dynamic HR team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing core human resources operations, ensuring a seamless employee experience, and maintaining the efficiency of HR processes and systems. Your primary focus will be on managing various facets of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, separation, leaves, attendance, and employee data management. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of HR practices to contribute to Porter’s growth and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess process orientation skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams to streamline HR workflows and improve overall HR service delivery.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. They should have 2-4 years of experience in people operations, with a proven track record of managing HR processes within organizations with over 3,000 employees. Proficiency in HRIS systems, preferably Darwinbox, and other HR-related software applications is essential. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. A thorough understanding of the employee lifecycle, HR compliance, and process automation will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Manage all employee lifecycle transactions with accuracy and timeliness, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and separations.
- Ensure proper data management on HRMS platforms, maintaining updated and accurate employee records.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to facilitate background verification (BGV) processes and onboarding formalities.
- Oversee employee lifecycle events such as manager changes, transfers, and recognition programs, ensuring proper documentation and communication.
- Support the separation process by managing exit formalities, documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure attendance, leaves, and encashment data are accurately captured and integrated with payroll systems.
- Assist in automating HR processes by collaborating with the HRMS team to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc HR reports, analyzing metrics such as KPIs, compliance, and employee engagement to support decision-making.
- Participate in HR audits, ensuring adherence to policies and regulatory requirements, and support audit processes as needed.
- Coordinate nominations and recognition programs, maintaining proper documentation and communication channels.
