Role Description
We are hiring our first HR Associate — this is not a traditional HR role. You will work directly with the leadership team to build HR from the ground up. This role is ideal for someone early in their career (0–2 years experience or freshers) who wants ownership, steep learning, and real impact in a fast-growing startup. You will not just execute processes, you will help define them.
What You’ll Do
- Own and manage day-to-day HR operations (onboarding, documentation, policies, employee records)
- Support end to end hiring: sourcing, screening, coordination, and candidate experience
- Help design and implement HR processes, policies, and systems from scratch
- Drive employee engagement and culture-building initiatives
- Support learning & development efforts across teams
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries and ensure smooth internal communication
- Ensure basic compliance and HR hygiene as we scale
- Work closely with founders and leadership on people strategy and org building
Who This Is For
- 0–2 years of experience OR a fresher with strong intent to build a career in HR
- Someone who wants ownership early, not just a support role
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Strong communication skills (written + verbal)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
