Role Overview
We are looking for a smart, highly organized, and execution-driven HR & Admin Intern to support day-to-day people operations and office administration at SwishX. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across employees, vendors, hiring processes, and culture-building initiatives, and wants hands-on exposure to how a fast-growing company is run from the inside.
This is a work-from-office role based in Bangalore, six days a week, and requires someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership.
Key Responsibilities
1) Vendor Management (50%)
- Coordinate with office vendors including housekeeping, pantry, stationery, internet, facility, and other service providers
- Track renewals, invoices, payments, and service quality
- Maintain vendor records, contracts, and contact databases
- Ensure office operations run smoothly on a day-to-day basis
- Identify better vendor options, negotiate where needed, and improve cost-efficiency
- Support admin purchases and ensure timely replenishment of office supplies
- Handle facility-related coordination and issue resolution promptly
2) Drafting and Maintaining HR Policies (10%)
- Assist in drafting, updating, and organizing HR policies and internal guidelines
- Maintain a structured repository of company policies and employee documents
- Coordinate with leadership to ensure policies remain current and practical
- Help standardize templates, letters, and internal HR documentation
3) Employee Engagement (20%)
- Plan and execute employee engagement activities, team events, celebrations, and culture initiatives
- Support onboarding experience for new joiners
- Gather employee feedback and suggest ideas to improve workplace experience
- Help create internal communication content around engagement, culture, and people practices
- Drive small but meaningful initiatives that make the office more energetic and well-run
4) Talent Acquisition (20%)
- Support sourcing and screening of candidates across functions
- Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communication
- Maintain hiring trackers and recruitment databases
- Assist in posting jobs on relevant platforms and managing inbound applications
- Ensure a smooth candidate experience from first touchpoint to closure
Skills and Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Good written and verbal communication
- Comfortable with Google Sheets, Docs, and general office tools
- High ownership, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through without constant supervision
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
