Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Housekeeping Supervisor based in Hyderabad. The Housekeeping Supervisor will oversee daily housekeeping operations, including assigning tasks to room attendants and public area staff, monitoring cleaning standards, and conducting regular inspections of guest rooms and hotel areas. Responsibilities include coordinating with the laundry team, ensuring timely linen and uniform supply, managing inventory of cleaning supplies, and maintaining safety and hygiene protocols. The role involves training and guiding housekeeping staff, addressing guest requests and concerns promptly, and collaborating with front office and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready and presented to brand standards. The supervisor will also support scheduling, basic reporting, and continuous improvement of housekeeping processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills to lead teams, allocate tasks, and monitor performance.
- Candidates should possess Housekeeping skills, including knowledge of cleaning procedures, standards, and use of equipment.
- Candidates should possess Laundry skills, including understanding of linen handling, washing processes, and fabric care.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Prior experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or in a similar role within hotels or hospitality is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by hotel operations.
- Basic knowledge of safety, hygiene, and infection-control practices in hospitality environments.
- A diploma or certification in Hotel Management or a related field is an advantage.
