Job Description
Are you passionate about cleanliness and maintaining a pristine environment? Join our team as a Housekeeping Staff member at Third Wave Coffee! As a Housekeeping Staff member, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our cafe is clean, organized, and welcoming to all our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the cafe during operating hours
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including washroom cleaning, dusting, and floor mopping
- Wash and maintain cutlery, crockery, and utensils as needed
- Regularly sanitize high-touch surfaces such as door handles and entrance glass
- Water and care for plants (applicable to cafes with greenery)
- Refill sanitizer bottles and ensure their availability for customers
- Clean and dust fire extinguishers and other safety equipment daily
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues to the store manager promptly
- Assist in handling lost and found items and report them to the store manager
Daily Routine
Morning Day Part:
- Follow the checklist for washroom cleaning and touch-up every 30 minutes
- Dust all furniture in the store and clean the cafe/BOH floor
- Regularly use the yellow mop bucket and wet floor signage for mopping
- Sanitize entrance door glass and door handles every 30 minutes
- Ensure outside areas of the store are clean and tidy
- Maintain the fire extinguisher and its surroundings
- Adhere to knowledge of cleaning agents and equipment usage
Closing Day Part
- Follow the checklist for washroom cleaning and touch-up every 30 minutes
- Clean cutlery, crockery, and utensils as required
- Perform mopping using the yellow mop bucket and wet floor signage
- Sanitize entrance door glass and door handles thoroughly
- Conduct deep cleaning of various sections on a rotational basis
- Clean all surfaces, fixtures, ceilings, and corners diligently
- Ensure dustbins are clean and regularly refilled with liners
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as per the checklist provided
