Job Summary

As a Housekeeping Attendant at our luxury hospitality resort in Kozhikode, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the impeccable cleanliness and presentation of our property. Your attention to detail and dedication to delivering outstanding service will contribute to an extraordinary guest experience in our opulent resort.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Guest Room Excellence:
  • Clean and prepare guest rooms to the highest luxury standards, ensuring all amenities are properly placed and in perfect condition.
  • Make beds with premium linens and position furnishings for a luxurious and comfortable ambiance.
  • Pay meticulous attention to details, arranging decorative items, ensuring no dust or smudges, and providing an evening turndown service.
  • Public Areas and Facilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, lounges, and restrooms.
  • Sanitize and keep high-touch surfaces spotless, such as handrails and elevator buttons.
  • Regularly inspect and clean luxury facilities, such as spa areas, fitness centers, and recreational spaces.
  • Linen and Inventory Management:
  • Manage the inventory of premium linens, towels, and housekeeping supplies to ensure an adequate stock at all times.
  • Coordinate with the Housekeeping Supervisor to replenish guest amenities with the highest quality products.
  • Turndown Service:
  • Offer personalized turndown service in the evenings, preparing guest rooms for a restful night's sleep with attention to lighting, music, and ambiance.
  • Provide an extra level of care, including leaving chocolates, water, and a weather forecast for the next day.
  • Guest Requests and Communication:
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and inquiries, exceeding their expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with the Front Desk and other departments to ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience.
  • Environmental and Sustainability Awareness:
  • Implement eco-friendly housekeeping practices, including proper waste segregation and responsible use of cleaning products to support our resort's sustainability goals.
  • Quality Control and Reporting:
  • Perform routine inspections of guest rooms and public areas, addressing any deficiencies immediately.
  • Report any maintenance issues, damages, or repairs needed to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Maintenance team promptly.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Previous experience in luxury hospitality or high-end hotels/resorts is preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering the highest level of service.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
