Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Housekeeping Associate role based at jüSTa Hotels & Resorts in Bhuj. The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining clean, orderly, and well-presented guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas in line with brand standards. Daily tasks include dusting and polishing surfaces, vacuuming and mopping floors, making beds, replenishing linens and amenities, and reporting any maintenance issues. The Housekeeping Associate will interact courteously with guests, respond to housekeeping requests, support check-in and check-out room readiness, and follow all safety, hygiene, and infection-control procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.
- Effective organization skills to manage cleaning schedules, room priorities, and housekeeping supplies.
- Ability to participate in and support training initiatives, including learning standard operating procedures and sharing best practices.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel operations preferred; familiarity with hospitality standards is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work on feet for extended periods and perform physical tasks safely.
- Basic understanding of hygiene, safety, and sanitation guidelines; willingness to follow policies and use protective equipment as required.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as per hotel requirements; local language skills and basic English are beneficial.
