About Hotelzify

Hotelzify is a direct booking platform for hotels to help guest book directly with them with the help of our no code website builder, AI Marketing automation tool and AI Front Desk Sales Agent. The idea is to help hotels get more bookings at a lower cost than traditional platforms like Booking.com, MakeMyTrip, Agoda which take 20% of the booking value. We raised 500K USD in April 23 and are currently profitable with over 350K USD left in the bank. Currently, over 5000 hotels in 7 countries use our technology with OYO and Sterling Resorts being some of our bigger clients.

About the Founders

Anirudh, CEO: Led product at Perpule which was acquired by Amazon in 2021. Avid traveller, backpacked across 9 states during 2021-22. Started Hotelzify after traveling across India and listening to property owners who wanted to digitise themselves and improve visibility. I lead all things except tech at Hotelzify.

Unni, CTO: Founding engineer at Yulu, leads all things tech at Hotelzify. Has worked across the board on the Hotelzify software with key focus currently on the AI Marketing Automation platform. Unni has over 8 years of experience in building things with over 6 years in early stage startups.

About the Role / What will you own

We are seeking a skilled Software engineer to design, develop, and implement a AI Sales Concierge for our hotel booking system. The chatbot will play a crucial role in enhancing user experience and operational efficiency by automating responses and integrating multiple advanced features.

Key Responsibilities & Impact Areas

Pioneering Conversational AI Solutions

• Architect and develop an advanced AI Sales Concierge that transforms hotel booking experiences through natural, context-aware conversations and personalised recommendations
• Design and implement sophisticated dialogue flows that handle complex booking scenarios, from initial inquiry to final confirmation, while maintaining a natural conversation style

Advanced Technical Implementation

• Create a cutting-edge voice processing system that enables users to send voice notes for a more natural interaction, complete with emotion detection and context understanding
• Build a multi-agent orchestration system where specialised AI agents collaborate to handle different aspects of the booking process - from room recommendations to price negotiations

Intelligent Learning Systems

• Develop an adaptive learning architecture that allows the AI to evolve through user interactions, automatically identifying knowledge gaps and incorporating new information
• Implement advanced feedback loops where the system learns from successful bookings and failed conversations to continuously improve its performance

Integration & System Architecture

• Create seamless integrations with Hotelzify's booking engine to provide real-time availability, dynamic pricing, and instant confirmation capabilities
• Design and implement a sophisticated failover system that smoothly transitions conversations to human agents when needed, complete with full context preservation

Innovation & Optimisation

• Lead the development of novel features like predictive pricing suggestions, personalised upgrade recommendations, and intelligent upselling opportunities
• Implement advanced analytics and monitoring systems to track conversation success rates, booking conversion metrics, and system performance

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in chatbot development, preferably with a focus on hospitality or e-commerce platforms
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience with voice recognition technologies and implementing telephony systems in chatbots
• Familiarity with GenAI technologies, especially in conversational flows
• Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into a unified system
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Compensation (Will improve on current if below does not match!)

• Fixed Cash: Rs.15,00,000
• Variable: Rs.2,00,000 yearly
• Plus ESOPs
