We are the exclusive sales & marketing partner for luxury resorts and hotels across India. We specialize in driving high-value Corporate, MICE, and bulk business for our panel of partner hotels.
Role Summary
The Area Sales Head – Corporate & MICE will lead revenue generation for the assigned territory by driving B2B sales across corporates, event agencies, production houses, and bulk buyers. The role involves securing annual rate contracts (RCs) and delivering consistent MICE & group business for the company and its panel hotels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Corporate & Group Sales
- Drive sales of panel hotels for corporate off-sites, training programs, dealer meets, and group stays
- Identify and onboard new corporate accounts across Pharma, BFSI, IT, Manufacturing, Consulting, etc.
- Build pipeline and close annual rate contracts (RCs) with key corporates
2. MICE Business Development
- Generate and convert MICE leads including conferences, incentives, product launches, and exhibitions
- Liaise with event agencies, PCOs, DMCs and participate in MICE bidding
- Achieve quarterly MICE revenue targets for the region
3. Production Houses & Bulk Buyers
- Develop strong relationships with film/TV production houses, ad agencies, wedding planners
- Handle long-stay / bulk room requirements and create customized packages & SLAs
4. Account Management & Growth
- Manage key accounts and ensure 90%+ client retention
- Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, site inspections, and roadshows
- Maintain CRM hygiene, weekly reports, and accurate forecasting
Key Requirements
✅ Experience: 5–10 years in hotel sales with minimum 3 years in Area/Regional Sales leadership role
✅ Territory Expertise: Strong experience handling Mumbai & Maharashtra / Delhi & NCR
✅ Industry Background: Luxury / Upper-upscale hotel sales (Corporate + MICE)
✅ Network Preferred: Strong contacts with TMCs, event agencies, corporates, production houses
✅ Skills: Proven record of closing RCs and MICE deals, negotiation, forecasting, strong presentations
✅ Education: Graduate (MBA preferred)
✅ Travel: 40–50% travel within region required
⭐ Existing client base in Pharma/BFSI/IT is a strong advantage
