Role Description The Hotel Booking Expert is a full-time, on-site role based in India. This role is responsible for managing hotel reservations for clients and internal teams, including searching for suitable properties, negotiating rates when applicable, and confirming bookings. Day-to-day tasks include handling booking inquiries, coordinating changes or cancellations, maintaining accurate reservation records, and ensuring timely communication with hotels and partners. The role also involves providing customer service support related to accommodation, liaising with reception or front desk teams when needed, and assisting with basic food & beverage requests linked to bookings (such as meal plans or special requirements). The Hotel Booking Expert works closely with sourcing and travel coordination teams to ensure a seamless experience for clients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and confident interaction with clients and hotel partners.
- Candidates should possess Reservations-related skills, such as managing booking systems, comparing rates and options, and handling modifications or cancellations efficiently.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service capabilities, including problem-solving, handling queries and complaints, and delivering a professional, client-focused experience.
- Candidates should possess Receptionist Duties familiarity, such as coordinating check-in/check-out details and working with front office staff to support guest needs.
- Candidates should possess basic Food & Beverage understanding, including organizing meal plans associated with bookings and communicating special dietary requirements.
- Relevant additional qualifications include prior experience in hospitality or travel booking, strong organizational and time-management skills, and proficiency with booking or CRM software.
- A diploma or degree in hospitality management, travel and tourism, business, or a related field is beneficial, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
