π ROLE: Hotel General Manager
π Location: India (On-site)
π Type: Full-time | Immediate joining preferred
πΌ Experience: 5β8 years | Min. 3 years as GM or Resident Manager
π WHAT YOU WILL OWN
π’ Hotel Operations
β’ Design & implement all SOPs from scratch β front office, housekeeping, maintenance
β’ Pre-opening setup: licensing, FF&E coordination, team recruitment & soft launch
β’ Manage PMS (Opera / Hotelogix / IDS) and daily KPIs β RevPAR, ADR, occupancy
β’ Maintain full statutory compliance: fire NOC, FSSAI, GST, labour law
π½οΈ Food & Beverage / Restaurant
β’ Conceptualise and launch all F&B outlets β restaurant, bar, room service, banquet kitchen
β’ Achieve food cost targets (28β32%) through smart inventory & vendor management
β’ Ensure FSSAI compliance, hygiene audits & responsible beverage service
β’ Grow F&B revenue via dining experiences, promotions & delivery platform integrations
π Vendor & Procurement Management
β’ Build the entire vendor ecosystem from zero β F&B, linen, engineering, IT, security
β’ Negotiate MSA/SLA contracts benchmarked to market rates
β’ Drive 10β15% annual procurement savings through consolidation & volume deals
β’ Ensure all vendors hold valid GST, FSSAI & regulatory certifications
πͺ Events & Banquet Management
β’ Launch and commercialise banquet, wedding & MICE verticals with competitive packages
β’ Coordinate AV, dΓ©cor, catering & logistics for seamless event execution
β’ Build a corporate MICE pipeline: off-sites, product launches, AGMs, conferences
π Sales & Revenue Growth
β’ Own full P&L: rooms, F&B, events & ancillary revenue lines
β’ Activate and optimise OTA listings: MakeMyTrip, Booking.com, Agoda, Goibibo
β’ Drive direct bookings via website, WhatsApp Business & loyalty programmes
β’ Forge Corporate Rate Agreements (CRAs) with local businesses, hospitals & TMCs
β’ Implement dynamic pricing using RateGain / OTA Insight or manual compset tracking
β’ Manage Google Business Profile, TripAdvisor & Instagram for brand visibility

YOU ARE THE RIGHT FIT IF YOU HAVE:
β Led a hotel pre-opening, new launch, or full-scale turnaround
β Managed full P&L with direct accountability to ownership / promoters
β Deep knowledge of both rooms division and F&B operations
β Strong grasp of OTA dynamics, revenue management & digital presence
β Hired, trained & retained cross-functional teams
β IHM / IHCL or equivalent hospitality certification (preferred)
β Fluency in English & Hindi (regional language is a plus)

This is NOT a maintenance role. There is no existing team, no inherited SOP, and no established vendor network.
We are looking for a builder β someone who is energised (not intimidated) by starting from zero.
If you have never launched or built a hotel operation from scratch, this particular role may not be the right match at this time.
