Hostess (Restaurant) – Job Description
We are looking for a friendly and well-presented Hostess to welcome guests and ensure they have a pleasant dining experience from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner.
- Manage reservations and maintain the seating plan.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth table turnover.
- Handle guest inquiries, waiting lists, and special requests.
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservation bookings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
- Address guest concerns politely and escalate issues when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 12th Pass.
- 1–2 years of experience in the hospitality industry (restaurant or hotel preferred).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Presentable personality with a positive attitude.
- Basic knowledge of reservation systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
