Key Responsibilities
Manage the overall administration and smooth functioning of the hostels at Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology & Rajalakshmi Medical College.
Ensure discipline, safety, security, and student welfare within the hostel premises.
Supervise hostel staff, housekeeping, security, and maintenance activities.
Coordinate room allotments, admissions, and student records.
Address student concerns and resolve grievances promptly.
Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with institutional standards.
Coordinate with the mess/catering team to maintain quality food services.
Liaise with college administration, wardens, parents, and service providers.
Handle emergency situations and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Maintain hostel inventories, registers, reports, and documentation.
Eligibility
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's degree preferred).
5–10 years of experience in hostel, institutional administration & residential facility.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and administrative documentation.
Experience in educational institutions will be an added advantage.
