NIMS University is inviting applications for the position of Hostel Manager to oversee and manage hostel operations efficiently while ensuring a safe, disciplined, and comfortable living environment for students.

We are looking for a responsible, proactive, and well-organized professional with strong leadership and administration skills who can effectively handle day-to-day hostel management and student coordination.

Position:

Hostel Manager

Experience Required:3–5 Years in hostel administration, facility management, student housing, or related operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing day-to-day hostel operations and ensuring smooth functioning of hostel facilities
• Maintaining discipline, safety, hygiene, and proper conduct within the hostel premises
• Coordinating room allotments, occupancy records, and hostel documentation
• Supervising housekeeping, security, maintenance, and support staff
• Handling student grievances and ensuring timely resolution of concerns
• Ensuring proper implementation of hostel rules and university policies
• Coordinating with university administration, wardens, transport, and security departments
• Monitoring hostel maintenance requirements and vendor/service coordination
• Managing emergency situations effectively and ensuring student welfare at all times
• Preparing operational reports and maintaining administrative records

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to manage students, staff, and operational challenges efficiently
• Good administrative and coordination abilities
• Problem-solving mindset with a disciplined and student-friendly approach
• Basic computer knowledge and record management skills
• Experience in educational institutions, universities, or large residential facilities will be preferred
