Role Description
The Data Analytics Club (DAC) at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College is looking for an industry expert or a seasoned professional to lead a hands-on workshop on ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Pipelines.
As we prepare our members for the evolving world of data engineering and analytics, we want to dive deep into the architecture that powers data-driven decision-making.
Workshop Goals
- Fundamental Concepts: Understanding the ETL lifecycle and its importance in modern data stacks.
- Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with tools like SQL, Python, or cloud-based ETL services (AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, etc.).
- Real-World Application: Building a basic pipeline to handle messy data and transform it into actionable insights.
What we are looking for
- A speaker/mentor with practical experience in data engineering or analytics.
- Someone who can simplify complex workflows for ambitious undergraduate students.
- A passion for mentoring the next generation of data professionals.
- Ability to explain technical processes and concepts in an accessible and engaging manner
- Availability to support hybrid participation – accommodating both in-person and virtual attendees
- Prior experience conducting workshops, webinars, or training sessions is a plus
