Founding Hotel Sales Lead
PS: Apply only if you have prev. experience in selling software solutions to Hotel chains, clinics or restaurant chains.
We are looking for an early sales hire to help bring 52East to hotels. This person will work closely with the founder to open conversations, run the sales process, and help shape how the product is positioned in the market.
This role is best suited for someone who is commercially sharp, comfortable in early-stage environments, and already understands how hotels in India and Southeast Asia buy software.
Required skills
- Proven experience selling directly to hotels in India and Southeast Asia
- Strong B2B sales ability, with experience owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
- Strong understanding of how hotel decision-makers think, including owners, general managers, operations leaders, and revenue teams
- Ability to sell software clearly and credibly in the hospitality space
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially in demos and customer calls
- Strong outbound instincts and the ability to build pipeline without relying only on inbound leads
- Experience selling hospitality tech, hotel software, PMS, guest experience tools, review management tools, or related SaaS products
- Ability to understand customer pain points quickly and translate product value into clear commercial ROI
- Comfort working in ambiguity and helping shape messaging, positioning, and go-to-market
- Strong ownership, follow-through, and ability to independently drive deals forward
Strong preference for candidates who have
- Existing relationships with hotels, hotel groups, or hospitality operators in India and Southeast Asia
- Experience selling into markets such as Thailand, Bali/Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, or similar
- Familiarity with hotel technology stacks, including PMS, channel managers, guest communication tools, and review platforms
What matters most
The most important requirement for this role is simple:
You must have already sold to hotels in India and Southeast Asia.
We are not looking for someone who wants to learn the market from scratch. We are looking for someone who already understands the buyers, the sales motion, and the region.
