Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Hospitality Sales Associate role based in Chennai. The Hospitality Sales Associate will engage prospective and existing members by explaining hotel loyalty program benefits, promotions, and offers in a clear and professional manner. Responsibilities include making outbound and receiving inbound calls, following up on leads, and converting inquiries into active memberships or renewals. The role involves maintaining accurate records of interactions, updating member information in internal systems, and meeting or exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. The Hospitality Sales Associate will collaborate closely with team leaders and colleagues to share feedback from members, support campaign improvements, and contribute to a positive, performance-oriented work environment.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and hospitality orientation, with the ability to build rapport and handle member inquiries professionally.
- Effective verbal communication and listening skills, with clear and confident telephone etiquette.
- Sales and persuasion abilities, including lead follow-up, objection handling, and closing membership enrollments or renewals.
- Basic computer and data entry skills, with the ability to work with CRM or call-center software and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment, manage time efficiently, and maintain a high level of motivation.
- Previous experience in hospitality, telesales, customer support, or loyalty programs is an advantage.
- Comfort working on-site in Chennai and collaborating in a diverse, inclusive team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a diploma or degree in hospitality, business, or a related field is a plus.
