Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in the Greater Chennai Area for a Service Staff (Restaurant) position at Oyama Japanese Cuisine. The Service Staff will be responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services, ensuring a welcoming and efficient guest experience. Daily responsibilities include greeting and seating guests, taking and serving orders, addressing customer inquiries, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene of dining areas, and assisting with food and beverage setups. Collaboration with team members to maintain high service standards is essential.
Qualifications
- Exceptional Customer Service and Hospitality skills to deliver a positive guest experience
- Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Knowledge and experience in Food & Beverage service and Hospitality Service protocols
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating teamwork and flexibility
- Prior experience in a restaurant, café, or similar hospitality establishment is a plus
- Basic knowledge of Japanese cuisine is an advantage
- Fluency in local languages and English is preferred
