Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Hospitality & Grooming Trainer role based in Kozhikode. The Hospitality & Grooming Trainer is responsible for training front-line and customer-facing teams on professional grooming, etiquette, and hospitality standards that align with NURA’s patient-centric culture. Day-to-day tasks include designing and delivering training modules on front office behavior, customer service, and patient interaction, as well as coaching staff on appearance, body language, and communication. The role involves conducting regular assessments, role-plays, and refresher sessions to ensure consistent service quality, along with documenting training plans, feedback, and improvement actions. The trainer will collaborate closely with center leadership and operations teams to align hospitality practices with clinical workflows while maintaining a welcoming and respectful environment for all visitors.
Qualifications
- Strong Training and facilitation skills, including the ability to design, deliver, and evaluate hospitality and grooming programs.
- Experience in Hospitality Consulting and implementing service standards in clinical, hotel, or premium service environments.
- Proven Customer Service expertise, with a focus on empathy, clarity, and handling diverse guest or patient needs.
- Front Office exposure, including managing reception workflows, check-in/check-out, and handling queries professionally.
- Understanding of Food & Beverage service etiquette and hygiene standards, especially in guest-facing environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
- Ability to coach and motivate teams at different levels, with a patient, inclusive, and respectful approach.
- Prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or customer experience training is preferred.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Training, or a related field is desirable.
- Willingness to work on-site full time in Kozhikode and conduct periodic training sessions as per operational needs.
