IHMC-U is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Housekeeping Faculty to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of housekeeping operations along with the ability to train and mentor students for successful careers in the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver classroom lectures and practical training in housekeeping operations.
- Train students in room cleaning procedures, public area maintenance, laundry operations, linen management, and guest service standards.
- Prepare lesson plans, training schedules, assignments, and assessments.
- Conduct demonstrations and hands-on sessions in housekeeping labs.
- Guide students on grooming, discipline, workplace etiquette, and industry expectations.
- Monitor student progress and provide academic support when required.
- Maintain housekeeping labs, equipment, and training materials.
- Coordinate with management for academic activities, events, and placements.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree / Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- Relevant industry experience in the Housekeeping Department of hotels/resorts preferred.
- Prior teaching or training experience will be an advantage.
- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and student development.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Organized, disciplined, and professional attitude.
- Strong practical knowledge of hotel housekeeping standards.
- Ability to motivate and mentor students.
- Candidates based in Udaipur or willing to relocate preferred.
