Role Description The Hospitality Associate – Luxury Hotels role at SMARTANK is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai, supporting premium hotel partners in delivering high-quality guest experiences. In this role, the Hospitality Associate will greet guests, assist with check-ins and check-outs, and coordinate with hotel teams to ensure smooth service across front office and guest relations. Daily tasks include responding to guest inquiries, handling requests and complaints professionally, and maintaining a warm, efficient, and detail-oriented approach to service. The Hospitality Associate will support food and beverage service, coordinate with housekeeping and other departments, and help uphold luxury brand standards at all times. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, following hotel policies and safety procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement in guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Candidates should possess Hospitality and Food & Beverage skills to support luxury hotel operations and guest-facing services.
- Candidates should possess Food Service skills to assist with serving, coordination, and presentation in dining areas.
- Previous experience in luxury hotels or upscale hospitality environments is highly beneficial.
- Professional appearance, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as per hotel operational needs.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with hotel management or POS systems are advantageous.
- Formal education in hospitality management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; equivalent experience is considered.
