Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Hospital Pharmacist located in Chennai. The Hospital Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, preparing and compounding prescriptions, providing pharmaceutical care to patients, and ensuring compliance with medical standards. They will work closely with medical staff to ensure optimal treatment outcomes, ensure proper storage and handling of medications, and educate patients on appropriate medication usage.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice principles
- Expertise in Medicine and Pharmaceutical Care methodologies
- Experience in Compounding and preparation of customized medications
- Excellent attention to detail and knowledge of medical regulations and compliance
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with healthcare teams and educate patients
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a related field (mandatory); a master's degree or Pharm.D is a plus
- Valid pharmacist licensure to practice in the region
- Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred
